Our Story - Why Tapiie Exists
A personal journey that led to a simple solution when it matters most.
Hi, we’re Scott and Jess, the founders of Tapiie.
This didn’t start as a business idea. It started as parents trying to protect their child.
In 2017, our daughter Amiyah-Leigh was born. Within just three hours, she began having seizures. Her blood sugars were unrecordable, and everything changed instantly. She was rushed to NICU, where she spent five incredibly difficult weeks while doctors worked to stabilise her and understand what was happening.
Eventually, she was diagnosed with a rare condition called panhypopituitarism, a lifelong condition that requires constant medication, monitoring, and immediate action in emergencies.
As parents, we quickly realised something that stayed with us.
Every time we met a new doctor, paramedic or nurse, we had to explain her condition from scratch. In high-pressure situations, that responsibility sits entirely on you.
Tapiie was built from that moment.
We wanted a simple, reliable way for critical medical information to be available instantly, without apps, without logins, and without delay. Something that works in the real world, when it matters most.

What happens if there is no signal?
An internet connection is required to load the medical profile. If there is no signal, access may be delayed until connectivity is available.
Is this a replacement for medical ID or emergency services?
No. Tapiie is designed to support emergency situations by providing quick access to information, but it does not replace professional medical care or emergency services.
Can I update my information?
Yes. You can update your medical profile at any time, ensuring the information is always accurate and up to date.
Is there a subscription?
